This webinar focuses on two often overlooked sources of air
pollution: domestic burning and agriculture. Local Authorities are increasingly
expected to help reduce emissions from these areas, and this session will
explain the main sources of pollution and suggest ways to manage them - such as
using Smoke Control Areas and running public awareness campaigns. The webinar
will also include examples from recent government guidance, like the Code of
Good Agricultural Practice (COGAP) and the Air Quality Strategy for Local
Authorities, as well as case studies showing where action has worked well.
