Fee = £295.00 plus VAT or 2 credits
This module will introduce some practical aspects of noise reporting and evaluation and also serve as a quick review of the key aspects of the previous 4 modules, drawing together the materials provided in other modules to evaluate noise reports and understand how conditions and notices should be drafted. The seminar/webinar will be based on review of a number of case study examples. The examples will be provided and delegates will have the opportunity to work through the examples with the guidance of trainers. The focus of the day will be to arrive at reasoned, evidenced, technically and legally sustainable conclusion.
The seminar/webinar will deal with the technical and legal issues of reviewing noise reports, and the application of noise conditions for use in planning and licensing regulatory controls and provide insight into the construction and use of noise management plans that are increasingly a key requirement for compliance with many regulatory regimes. A number of examples of conditions will be worked through, in an open forum discussion on application of them. (please note, due to the web based nature of this presentation, open forum discussions will be limited to questions on the catch up session). It will provide guidance for review of notices issued under statutory nuisance legislation.
This seminar/webinar is of use to anyone who is responsible for preparation or review of noise reports, or for determination of compliance with legislative requirements. The seminar/webinar will include models and/or interested in proper specification of noise mitigation measures to address noise concerns arising from reports.
