Let there be light!
…but let it not be a subject of glare, glint, glow or any other feature that may adversely impact.
This Toolbox talk will review light pollution, the nuisance and planning provisions for regulating light pollution, the primary guidance, and the methods used by lighting engineers to provide an evaluation of light impact both beneficial light and undesired light spill. It is intended that delegates will have a better understanding of lighting reports that are submitted and understand terms of the LUX, candela and other parameters used, and ultimately be able to apply values in standards to effects.
A must for anyone new to evaluating light pollution.
