This advanced session will focus on case studies that use a
variety of acoustic standards to demonstrate environmental impact. The
session will provide a review of how BS4142, and WHO criteria are used in
practice to demonstrate environmental impact. The session will provide a
number of case studies for (hopefully) in person review and critical analysis.
The session will provide opportunity to revisit the concept
of uncertainty in noise measurement and reporting and how that might affect
decision making.
