          • Semi-volatiles

          • Session 4: Instrument calibration

            An insight into:

            • The principles of analysis for a variety of pollutants
            • Calibration of instruments
            • Use of information from calibrations in the operation of networks and data processing.

            • Session 5: Data management

              An introduction to:

              • Validation and ratification of data.
              • When to reject data - examples of “good “ and “bad” quality datasets.
              • The application of correction factors to TEOM PM data

              • Session 6: Tools and thresholds for screening assessment

                • Sources of emission
                • Activity thresholds
                • Screening modelling
                • Reporting procedures/templates

                • Essentials of LAQM 2 Knowledge Check, Feedback and CPD

                  The LAQM 2 Knowledge Check will enable you to review your understanding of the course material from the 6 sessions across LAQM 2. 

                  Participants will have three attempts at the Knowledge Check and a score of 75% is required to pass.
